Louis Dreyfus Commodities is one of the largest merchants and traders of grain in the world with a major origination and distribution network in over 53 countries. The company supports its Grain activities from major offices in Beijing, Buenos Aires, Delhi, Geneva, Paris, São Paulo, Singapore, Memphis and Wilton (USA).

Argentina

The Argentina Region includes operations in Argentina, Uruguay and South Africa. Buenos Aires is a major coordination center for merchandising activities. In Argentina, the General Lagos plant and port facility on the Paraná River, and the Timbúes plant and port, also on the Paraná River are major soybean crushing facilities. A network of regional offices in South Africa, with headquarters in Sandton, supports its merchandising activities.

Asia

Singapore is the regional headquarters for commodity trading, merchandising and logistical support activities in the Asia region. There are offices in Melbourne (South Yarra), Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Bangkok, Jakarta, Delhi, Bombay and Dhaka.

Brazil

Soybean crushing plants, warehouses, a cottonseed processing plant and a network of port and storage facilities are located throughout the country in addition to the regional headquarters in São Paulo.

Europe

The Europe Region incudes countries throughout Europe and in the Middle East, North Africa and the states of the former Soviet Union. Regional headquarters in Geneva serve as a major coordination center for merchandising activities.

North America

In North America, the company operates large export elevators in the United States and Canada and has built a series of new high-speed elevators in the Canadian interior. Major trading offices are located in Calgary (Canada), Kansas City, Memphis, Minneapolis, Wilton and Puebla (Mexico).
